Doyle Security are seeking a diligent and proactive Security Officer to join our
Operational Support Group, you will join our core team at a customer’s site
within South Yorkshire. The role will mean you will be working within a
logistical gatehouses which deals with a high traffic facility.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of premises,
personnel, and visitors. Key responsibilities include booking in and out
vehicles, managing visitors and customers, conducting patrols, and performing
vehicle temperature checks and ensuring the Health & Safety Policy for the
site is adhered to.

Duties:

• Efficiently manage the booking in and out of vehicles, visitors, and customers.
  
  Regularly patrol the facility to ensure safety and security protocols are being followed.
  
  Perform routine temperature checks on vehicles as part of our health and safety procedures.
  
  Maintain accurate logs of all activities using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  
  Provide a professional and courteous service to visitors, customers, and employees.
  
  Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols.
  
  Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a cohesive Security and Health & Safety strategy.
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a security role.
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  Strong observational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  
  Ability to perform patrols and handle physical aspects of the role.
  
  A professional attitude and appearance at all times.

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) License.
  
  First Aid certification is desirable but not essential.
  
  Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  
  A full UK Driving Licence.
