Role Overview:
As a Sales and Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the business. Your primary focus will be on new business acquisition through identifying and closing sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and securing contracts through tender submissions. This position requires someone with strong networking skills, exceptional writing ability for tenders, and a passion for providing customised security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic outreach.
· Generate leads and build a pipeline of prospects across industries such as retail, commercial real estate, and logistics.
· Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
· Prepare, write, and submit tenders and proposals for security contracts, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
· Conduct site visits and client consultations to assess security needs and offer tailored solutions.
· Achieve sales targets by converting leads into signed contracts.
· Track market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and materials to support business development efforts.
· Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote Doyle Security’s services.
· Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
Skills and Experience Required:
· Proven experience in sales, business development, or tender writing, ideally within the security industry or a related field.
· Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and ability to engage with clients at all levels.
· Experience in tender writing and proposal management, with attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
· Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and building long-term client relationships.
· Ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive market.
· Strong networking skills, with the ability to represent the company at events and meetings confidently.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
· A proactive, self-motivated approach with a passion for business development.
