An exciting opportunity to Join our Night Life Team in Barnsley Town centre  

We are currently recruiting for Night Life Angel’s  to join our Night Life team within the Barnsley nighttime economy.  

The role will be primarily Saturday nights from 22.00 to 04.00 (6 hrs) to assist vulnerable females. As such this role is only open to females to apply.  

Primarily the Angels will be assisting any vulnerable females who fall into the following groups. 

• Under the influence of alcohol or drugs 

• Alone or receiving unwanted attention 

• Separated from friends 

• Lost or isolated 

• Being followed or threatened 

• Victims of child exploitation 

• Under the age of 18 

• With mental ill-health 

• With learning, physical, or a range of invisible disabilities

Duties 

• Provide a high-profile presence within the Town centre 

• Provide a proactive approach 

• Effectively Communicate with women and young girls 

• Collate accurate reports on all events / incidents and provide these to the management team and customers. 

Requirements 

• Have a full 5-year work / education history including addresses and landline contact details. 

• Attention to detail 

• The successful applicant will be punctual, reliable and be able to adopt a flexible approach and well presented. 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

• A professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity 

Desirable 

• Completed Welfare and Vulnerability Engagement Course 

• Completed Ask Angela Vulnerability Training 

• Completed ACT Awareness Training 

• Previous administration experience. 

• Previous Customer Service experience 

• Frontline SIA License
